Hasbro's newest games- U-build Monopoly review & Giveaway 1-21

My son has been asking for the U-build games since he seen them on TV. He thought they were the coolest thing ever. I thought this would be interesting building your own game. Hasbro sent us U-Build Monopoly and as soon as it arrived it was out of the box and my son began putting it together. He was so excited.

U-build Monopoly is a new game where you choose how long of a game you want to build because I know most of you hear Monopoly and think this will go on for hours. Well with this Monopoly you can choose 30 minute, 60 minutes or 90 minute game. The best part is you build your board. They have the design for starter track, classic track or pro track but you can even go free style and build it however you want.

The first thing I notice is the properties are named different which was disappointing to me because I love the classic names like boardwalk or reading railroad. I did love the pawns though no more car or thimble. They are photographer, builder, real estate person and more. There are a few new challenges but some of the old ones too. It is almost the same as the old one. You roll the dice move your space decide to buy the property or such like pay someone rent or chance cards. You get to build houses, skyscrapers and parks and even hazard stations like prisons or power stations and such. We had so much fun playing this that we didn't want to stop. I think we ended up playing for over 3 hours we were having so much fun. This is definitely a great family game night game that will help you have fun and bond with your family.

My Review:

Alisa was so amazing to send me FIVE (!!) pieces from Alisa Michelle Designs so that I could conduct a review to see just how amazingAlisa Michelle Designs jewelry is.

Here are the five pieces that I received to review. I got four silver pieces and one gold necklace. I think there is a great sense of glamor and mystery attached to the coins and tokens that Alisha usually features in her designs. I mean think of all the adventures and all the things that these coins have seen.

I love the Do you Love Me Necklace which is stamped on a metal bar. It's a great bold look and really stands out because it's not tiny.


The Peace is a Reward Necklace is also made from a coin and it's so cool because when you flip it to the back it has been worn down so much that you can't really make out any distinctive features. I can just imagine what types of places this coin has been.

The great Life is Short Necklace features two gold charms. One larger one that is an actual coin that says Do if for You and a smaller coin that's actually a bus token that says Life is too Short. As you can see the back of the larger coin features great coin detailing.

Look how cool the All the World's a Stage necklace is! You can actually see the details of the coin that are behind the stamping.

The Have Fun Necklace also has a great quote that reminds me that sometimes I have to do what's right for me and what is in my best interests. And not to get to involved in work so that I forget to have fun. The quote is "If you follow all the rules you miss the fun"


As you can tell Alisa Michelle Designs pieces look amazing whether your wear one piece alone.......

Another great thing that I love is that the pieces are made of coins so they are tough. With some necklaces I have to be very careful because I am afraid that they will get damaged but with Alisa Michelle Designs I really don't have to worry about that!
