Taylor Kenney Jewelry is the creation of the lovely Tiffany who got the name for her jewelry line by using her name minus the Tiffany. While she lives in Colorado she designs amazing pieces of jewelry. Here jewelry is so bold and special and while it can easily stand out from the crowd Taylor Kenney Jewelry still maintains a classic feminine look. I am so in love with her amazing jewelry! The use of colours and the great ways in which the are combined just makes me all giddy inside.
Tiffany loves combining vivid gemstones of the most sumptous colors and includes textures with delicate gold and silver chain to create a beautiful effect. Colour has always been at the forefront of her work and the gemstones and their rainbow of colours provides her with endless inspiration for creativity.
Taylor Kenney Jewelry first began in 2004 as a casual hobby but the jewelry creating bug hit Tiffany and she hasn't looked back since. Taylor Kenney Jewelry is currently being operated out of Tiffany's home studio and she gets help with her husband Colin. I love the fact that Taylor Kenney Jewelry donates ten percent of its sales to aid in relief efforts which helps fight hunger, poverty and extreme need in many areas around the world! When and what made you want to open up your shop? I created my shop about 2 years ago, after deciding that I wanted make jewelry design my full time job. I had been teaching yoga for several years, which was a wonderful job, but I decided I wanted to devote more of my time to creating jewelry, as it was quickly becoming a rather obsessive passion! I couldn't stop thinking about new designs I wanted to create...
Where do you draw inspiration for all your amazing designs? Mostly I draw inspiration from the natural beauty of my environment here in the Rocky Mountains, and also from the vibrant, saturated colors of the gemstones I get to work with...so delicious!
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? Being able to sit in meditation for any length of time...
If you could be an animal what would you be and why?Probably a dog, because I really admire the way they love so unconditionally.
If you could have one super power what would it be and why? If I could have one super power, it would be to feel and show genuine compassion to all people at all times... This, to me, would truly be a super power!
